Scope of Work
The selected bidder will be responsible for providing ready food and refreshments to trainees participating in residential and non-residential training programmes conducted by DIET Tumkur and related training locations/taluks.
The scope broadly includes:
- Supply of lunch, coffee/tea and evening snacks as per tender requirements.
- Supply of food as per the approved menu, timing and quantity specified by the authority.
- Ensuring fresh, hygienic, nutritious and good-quality food.
- Providing food on time during training programmes.
- Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and serving.
- Using quality ingredients, cooking oil and fresh vegetables.
- Ensuring food handlers follow hygiene practices such as use of apron, cap and hand gloves.
- Providing services as per directions issued by DIET Tumkur and concerned officials.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
Eligible bidders should meet the basic pre-qualification requirements specified in the tender document, including:
- The bidder should be a registered agency, institution, company, trust or legal entity authorised to provide food/catering services.

Submission Guidelines
