Key Work Requirements
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
- Routine and breakdown maintenance of the complete Fire Alarm System.
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of fire alarm control panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, loop cards, batteries, cables, isolators and related hardware.
- Preventive maintenance on a quarterly basis or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
- Attending complaints within 24 hours of intimation by phone or email.
- Providing 24x7 support for the concerned fire alarm equipment.
- Bringing failed equipment/components back into operation within 24 hours.
- Maintaining service records and maintenance registers at site.
- Submitting certified service reports along with bills.
- Checking battery health, zone/loop testing, fire panel LED function test, visual inspection, detector cleaning and minimum 15% device/detector testing during service visits.
- Providing qualified technicians and engineers for AMC work.
- Complying with RCF gate entry, police verification, safety and labour compliance requirements.
- Handover of soft copy/software/settings of the respective systems before contract expiry.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
Bidders should meet the following key pre-qualification requirements:
- The bidder must have experience of successfully completed similar Fire Alarm System maintenance work during the last 7 years ending on the last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited.
- The bidder should have office or service facility available in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
- The bidder must submit address proof of office/service station in MMR.
- The bidder should submit proof of similar work experience such as Purchase Order / Work Order / Contract issued and executed during the last 7 years.
- Proof of execution must be submitted through completion certificate, customer acceptance certificate, GeM SDAC, tax invoice and payment proof, as applicable.
- The work order should preferably be in the name of the participating bidder. Work executed through another agency may not be considered unless supported by written confirmation from the end-user organization.
- The bidder should not be blacklisted, holiday-listed or debarred by RCF Limited or the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.
- All documents should be duly signed and stamped.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible bidders may include fire alarm maintenance agencies, service providers and contractors who are registered on GeM and capable of maintaining industrial fire alarm systems.
The bidder should provide:
- Company registration details.
- PAN certificate.
- GST registration details, if applicable.
- ESIC certificate or proof of challan submission.
- PF certificate or proof of challan submission.
- Banker details.
- UDYAM registration certificate, if claiming MSME status.
- Make in India / local content declaration.
- Land border declaration.
- Debarment / blacklisting declaration.
- Undertaking regarding common directors/partners/interest in associated firms.
