Scope of Work
The proposed work covers comprehensive maintenance services for IT systems installed at EIL offices in New Delhi and Gurugram. The systems include HP make desktop PCs, laptops and workstations connected through LAN.
The broad scope includes:
- Comprehensive Maintenance Support
- Proactive, corrective and remedial maintenance of desktop PCs, laptops and workstations.
- Replacement of defective hardware parts such as processors, motherboards, hard disks, RAM, monitors, keyboards, mouse, laptop displays, laptop batteries, interface cables and VGA cables.
- Replacement parts should preferably be new and of the same make.
- End-User Management and Software Support
- Support for Windows 10 / Windows 11 operating systems and OS upgrades.
- Support for LAN-based software, Oracle client, AutoCAD client, antivirus, internet browsing and associated applications.
- Installation and troubleshooting of Oracle client, CITRIX client, .NET framework, Java updates, software patches and other required software.
- Installation and troubleshooting of drivers for printers, scanners, plotters and shared network devices.
- Support for email services, email archiving and software restoration.
- Data Backup and Restoration
- Backup of user data when a system is replaced or reallocated.
- Restoration of data on new or alternate systems.
- Formatting of old systems after data restoration as per EIL instructions.
- Preventive Maintenance and Cleaning
- Preventive maintenance of all systems once every six months.
- Cleaning of systems using suitable materials, vacuum cleaners, blowers and consumables.
- Submission of documentary evidence for completion of preventive maintenance.
- Annual Physical Verification
- Assistance in annual physical verification of PCs, laptops and other IT systems.
- Support for identification and e-waste disposal of obsolete IT assets.
- Resident Maintenance Personnel Deployment
- Deployment of at least six maintenance personnel at EIL offices.
- Personnel deployment will be at the discretion of EIL for New Delhi and Gurugram locations.

Pre-Qualification / Bidder Qualification Criteria
The bidder must satisfy the following technical qualification criteria:
1. Eligible Bidder Type
The bidder may be either:
- The OEM, M/s HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd., itself; or
- A bidder authorized by OEM M/s HP India Sales Pvt. Ltd. to bid against the subject RFQ / Tender / Bid document.
2. Experience Criteria
The bidder must have experience in support, maintenance services or AMC of similar category items at any customer location in India for a continuous period of at least one year during the last seven years.
