Scope of Work

The scope of work involves providing chain link fencing around the Multi Species Finfish Hatchery Cum Training Center at Devikulam, Idukki District. The work is categorized as General Civil Work and must be completed within 04 months.

As per the uploaded drawing, the fencing work includes GI chain link fencing with 2.5-inch GI pipe posts at 2.50 m centre-to-centre, GI pipe at top and bottom, cement concrete foundation for fencing posts, CC foundation bed, and provision for ground as well as waterlogged area portions. The drawing also shows DR masonry for the waterlogged area portion.

Eligibility Criteria

Bidders must be registered contractors/firms of PWD, CPWD, Irrigation Department, Harbour Engineering Department, Kerala Water Authority, or other eligible government-approved agencies as specified in the tender. The required bidder classification is D Class and above.

The standard bid document also states that only bidders having valid and active registration on the date of bid submission are eligible to participate through the e-GP portal. Bidders must register on the e-procurement portal and submit bids using a valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).

Pre-Qualification Criteria

Financial Criteria

Tender Fee and EMD Details

The tender fee is ₹3,717, calculated as ₹2,500 plus ₹450 GST, along with processing fee ₹650 plus ₹117 GST. The Earnest Money Deposit / Bid Security is ₹50,000. Both are required to be paid online.

Any bid not accompanied by acceptable bid security or tender fee may be rejected as non-responsive. The tender fee is non-refundable, and bid security carries no interest.

Submission Guidelines

Bidders must download the tender documents and BOQ from www.etenders.kerala.gov.in and submit bids online only through the e-GP portal. Manual submission of tender bids is not accepted, and late tenders will not be considered.

The price bid must be submitted only online in the prescribed BOQ format. The tender also requires scanned copies of key documents to be uploaded online, followed by submission of specified hard copies through Speed Post/Registered Post so that they reach the authority before the prescribed deadline.
