Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for running and maintaining mess/catering services during the MAITRI training programme and other university events at SVPUA&T, Meerut. The work includes catering services for 35 days during MAITRI training in 4–5 batches, along with short-duration programmes and other university functions.

The scope includes:

  1. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, snacks and high tea during training programmes.
  2. Catering support for inaugural and valedictory functions.
  3. Food and catering arrangements for other university programmes as and when required.
  4. Preparation of food only in the designated kitchen area.
  5. Arrangement of required catering equipment, utensils, burners, tandoor, refrigerator, deep freezer, food warmer/oven and related infrastructure by the contractor.
  6. Maintenance of hygiene, food quality, cleanliness of kitchen area and safe food handling.
  7. Use of approved food items such as pulses, rice, ghee, oil, milk products, tea and coffee as per FSSAI/AGMARK standards.
