Scope of Work
The selected partner agency will be responsible for executing a structured English voice data collection exercise in Government Schools across Gujarat. The activity will include audio recordings of students reading English letters, words, non-words and paragraphs, along with teacher reference recordings.
Major Work Components
The partner agency will be required to:
- Collect English audio data from students of Grades 5–8 in Government Schools across Gujarat.
- Collect teacher reference audio recordings for the same reading material.
- Use the Wadhwani AI-provided data collection tool, web link or Progressive Web App.
- Ensure coverage across approximately 200–300 schools after finalisation of the school list.
- Cover schools across 6–7 dialectical zones and approximately 33 districts of Gujarat.
- Maintain equal distribution across grades and assessment items.
- Ensure a 50:50 gender ratio while collecting student data.
- Train data collectors on technical tool usage, data collection protocol, ethical consent and audio quality standards.
- Ensure each data collector has a smartphone, internet connectivity and a good-quality microphone.
- Upload signed consent form photographs along with each recording.
- Re-collect rejected data at no additional cost if recordings fail quality checks.

Pre-Qualification Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate strong capability in large-scale field operations, data collection and education-sector implementation. The RFP highlights the following mandatory requirements:

Important Submission Instructions
