Scope of Work

The selected NGO will be responsible for complete planning, coordination and implementation of health checkup camps in designated blocks and districts. Each camp should serve approximately 150–200 participants.

Major Responsibilities

1. Camp Setup and Coordination

The NGO must identify suitable camp locations in coordination with local authorities, panchayats and community leaders. The camp site must have proper seating, water arrangements and basic hygiene facilities.

2. Medical Staffing

The implementing NGO must deploy qualified MBBS doctors, registered nurses and project staff for monitoring and camp implementation.

3. Health Screening Services

Each camp must provide the following services:

  1. Blood Pressure measurement
  2. Hemoglobin testing
  3. Body Mass Index assessment
  4. Random Blood Sugar testing
  5. ECG
  6. General physician consultation

4. Beneficiary Support

The NGO must provide on-the-spot health reports, basic medical advice and essential medicines where required.

5. IEC and Community Awareness Activities

The project includes Information, Education and Communication activities such as wall paintings, leaflets, banners and public announcements to mobilize local communities.

6. Compliance and Reporting

The NGO must ensure bio-medical waste disposal as per applicable regulations and submit detailed camp-wise reports including participation data, demographic information, screening findings, geo-tagged photographs and beneficiary lists.

7. Travel and Field Coordination

The project team must be prepared to travel across different blocks and districts as per the mutually agreed implementation schedule. Local accommodation and transport arrangements must be included in the financial proposal.

Financial Criteria

The RFP does not prescribe a minimum turnover, net worth requirement, tender fee or EMD. However, NGOs must submit a detailed financial proposal as per Annexure 1.

The financial proposal must include cost per camp based on 150 beneficiaries per camp. All costs must be itemized and justified.

Financial Proposal Components

  1. Lab equipment rental including ECG device, stadiometer, weighing scale, BP monitor, glucometer and pulse oximeter
  2. Prescription pad printing with branding
  3. Medicines including antibiotics, antipyretics, anti-inflammatory medicines and multivitamins
  4. Random Blood Sugar test strips
  5. IEC/BCC activities including wall paintings, leaflets and banners
  6. Camp location cost including site rent, seating and water arrangements
  7. MBBS doctor cost per camp
  8. Staff nurse cost per camp
  9. Project staff cost for monitoring and implementation
  10. Refreshments for camp team
  11. Local accommodation
  12. Local travel

The NGO cost management fee is capped at 5% of the total project cost. All costs must be quoted inclusive of applicable taxes, with GST mentioned separately wherever applicable.
