Scope of Work

The selected agency will be responsible for repairing and overhauling one FRONIUS Simulator Base Virtual Welding Training Machine installed at Government ITI Lunawada. The repaired machine must be made fully functional and suitable for practical training use.

The scope includes labour, technicians, transportation, site visits, tools, equipment, consumables, spare parts and any other resources required to complete the repair work. The agency must conduct testing and demonstration after repair and resolve any defects pointed out during testing by the institute’s supervisor/instructor.

The agency must submit a repair and testing report after completion. Any consumables or replacement parts used should be of ISI/BIS quality where applicable, and supporting documents such as invoice, box details, guarantee or warranty card should be included in the report. Replaced parts must be returned to the institute.

Work Completion Timeline

The agency must complete the repair work within 20 working days from receipt of the work order. The machine must be handed over in operational condition with all required functionalities.

Warranty Requirement

The repaired machine must carry a 1-year warranty from the date of successful testing, demonstration and acceptance. During the warranty period, if the machine stops functioning, the agency must restore it without any additional payment from the institute.

Payment Terms

Payment will be made after successful testing and demonstration, submission of acceptance report, satisfactory work certificate from the concerned supervisor/instructor, repair/testing report and bill. The tender terms indicate 100% payment after satisfactory completion and submission of required documents.

If the work remains pending beyond the order timeline, a penalty of 0.5% per week may be deducted. Prolonged delay may also lead to a recommendation for blacklisting as per applicable government procedure.

The bid value is ₹20,000 inclusive of all taxes. The bidder must quote prices online on GeM inclusive of GST/taxes. Financial document indicating price breakup is required.

Tender Fee and EMD

The buyer-uploaded terms mention that after receipt of the work order, the selected agency must submit a notarised acceptance on ₹300 stamp paper and deposit security at 5% of the order value before starting work.

Submission Guidelines

All bids must be submitted online through the GeM portal. Price bids must be submitted online only, with GST/taxes included. No document, communication or query will be accepted through mail or post.

Bidders are advised to visit the site, inspect the machine and understand the actual repair requirement before quoting. The L1 bidder, based on the lowest online price, will be considered for award of work, subject to technical and eligibility compliance.
