Scope of Work
The selected bidder will be responsible for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a complete Fire Fighting System at the Common Facility Centre of M/s. Goli Steel Association. The scope includes hydrant system components, fire extinguishers, conventional fire alarm system and approval-related work for final Fire NOC.
Key components include:
- Electrical-driven, diesel-driven and jockey-driven centrifugal fire pumps.
- Electrical panel with cabling work.
- Heavy-duty G.I. pipes, hydrant valves, hose reel drums, pressure gauges and pressure switches.
- Fire brigade inlet connection.
- ABC and AFFF fire extinguishers.
- Main fire alarm panel, MCP, hooters and FRLS cable.
- Designing, drawing, approval, Form ‘A’ and licensing for final Fire NOC from the Fire Department.
The total quoted cost must include GST, applicable taxes, transportation, insurance, unloading, installation, commissioning, packing, forwarding, agency commission, local taxes, on-site technological training, mechanical and electrical maintenance training for four persons for two weeks, and internal electrical cabling.
Pre-Qualification / Eligibility Criteria
Eligible bidders may include manufacturers, authorized distributors, authorized dealers, registered firms, reputed suppliers/contractors from India or abroad, and their reputed Indian agents. The bidder must provide proof of their status as manufacturer, authorized distributor/dealer or supplier/contractor for the Fire Fighting System.
The bidder must also submit:
- Valid registered licensed contractor certificate from the Fire Department.
- GST registration certificate.
- PAN card / PAN allotment certificate.
- Income Tax Returns for the last three financial years.
- Constitution documents of the bidder entity.
- Authorization letter / board resolution for the authorized signatory.
- OEM authorization letter, where applicable.
- Descriptive literature / brochure and technical details of quoted items.
- Technical compliance statement as per Annexure I.
- Delivery and commissioning schedule as per Annexure II.
- Customer or buyer documents / purchase orders confirming supply and installation of Fire Fighting System for 75% or more of the estimated cost in each of the preceding three financial years.
- Satisfactory performance reports from at least three customers for successful installation, commissioning and operation during the last three financial years.
Financial Criteria
The tender document requires bidders to submit Income Tax Returns for the preceding three financial years and customer/buyer documents or purchase orders demonstrating relevant experience. Submission Guidelines
Bids must be submitted online only through the Maharashtra e-tendering portal: www.mahatenders.gov.in. The tender follows a two-envelope system, consisting of:

Important submission instructions:
- Bidders must possess a valid Class-III Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).

Delivery, Installation and Commissioning Timeline
The successful bidder must complete delivery, installation and successful commissioning of the Fire Fighting System within six months from the date of issue of Award of Contract.
Delay penalty may be imposed at 0.5% of the cost of the Fire Fighting System per week, subject to a maximum of 5% of the total contract value.
Warranty and Maintenance
The bidder must provide a warranty of not less than two years from the date of successful commissioning of the Fire Fighting System. During the warranty period, servicing, maintenance and replacement of defective parts must be provided at no additional cost. After the warranty period, scheduled servicing and maintenance must be carried out every three months by the authorized agency of the manufacturer or supplier.
