Scope of Work

The scope covers construction of a BT road stretch at Village Karmala, Olpad, Surat. The Bill of Quantities includes road preparation, earthwork, granular sub-base, WBM layers, bituminous work, drainage/culvert pipe work and road safety signage. Key work items include clearing and grubbing, earthwork cutting, box cutting, embankment preparation, hard murrum spreading, granular sub-base construction, WBM Grade I and Grade II layers, bitumen primer coat, NP3 RCC pipe installation, bituminous base course, premix carpet, seal coat, asphalt painting, kilometre/hectometre stones and traffic sign boards.

The technical specifications require execution as per MORT&H specifications, General Technical Specifications for Road Works and relevant IRC/BIS standards wherever applicable. The contractor must ensure proper site preparation, road surface preparation, quality control, material testing, traffic arrangements and work execution as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Pre-Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

Eligible bidders must be registered contractors of Category E-2 & above and must submit a valid registration certificate, GST number, tender fee, EMD or valid exemption certificate and other required documents in the prescribed format. Physical offers are not accepted; the bid information must be submitted electronically through the tender platform.

The bidder must not be associated directly or indirectly with any consultant or entity involved in preparing the design, specifications or project documents. Submission Guidelines

Bidders must submit the tender online through the nProcure portal. The bid is to be submitted in two parts: Technical Bid and Financial Bid. The Technical Bid must include bid security, qualification information, certificates, undertakings, affidavits and other documents required under the qualification clauses. The Financial Bid must include the Form of Bid and priced Bill of Quantities.
