Scope of Work

The tender covers the following works under Falta Development Block:

Pre-Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

1. Interested bidders should be experienced contractors or agencies having relevant experience in similar nature and magnitude of constructional work. The bidder must submit credentials such as completion/payment certificates for similar works. Sub-contract credentials will not be accepted.
2. The tendering authority may demand original certificates of execution of similar works. Bidders who failed to complete previous works to the satisfaction of the Block Development Officer, Falta Development Block, may not be considered.

Financial Criteria

1. The tender document does not specify any minimum average annual turnover or net worth requirement. However, bidders must satisfy the work-wise credential requirement mentioned in Annexure-A.

1. Tender fee and earnest money must be deposited through RTGS or fund transfer only in favour of the Block Development Officer, Falta Development Block. Bank draft/pay order will not be accepted.

Submission Guidelines

1. Bidders must submit their bids through the West Bengal e-tender portal: www.etender.wb.nic.in. The tender follows a two-bid system:
2. Technical Bid: EMD proof, tender fee proof and technical/credential documents.
3. Financial Bid: Percentage rate quote, either above, below or at par with the schedule of rates.
4. Physical documents/RTGS proof supporting the EMD and application fee must be submitted before opening of the tender. All documents should be attested by a Group-A Officer of the State/Central Government and self-signed with seal and the remark “submitted by me.” Document Checklist

Key Tender Conditions

1. The accepting authority is not bound to accept the lowest bid and reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning reasons. The authority may also split the work among more than one tenderer. If any bidder submits false or below-required credentials, the earnest money may be forfeited. The successful bidder must execute a formal agreement within ten days from acceptance of tender. A 1% Workers’ Welfare Cess will be deducted from bills.
