Scope of Work

The selected contractor will be responsible for providing complete catering services at the Corporate Training Institute, APSPDCL, Tirupati. The catering services will be provided to participants, guest faculty, staff, and guests during training programmes and related institutional activities.

The scope includes:
  1. Complete catering services for national and international participants and guest faculty on programme days.
  2. Early morning tea, coffee, or milk.
  3. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner, and after-class tea, coffee, or milk.
  4. Tea, coffee, and snacks during office hours and, if required, outside office hours and on holidays.
  5. Special catering services within the premises for official events or special occasions.
  6. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food preparation as per approved menu and hygiene standards.
  7. Buffet, sit-down service, banquet service, or any other form of service as instructed by APSPDCL.
  8. Maintenance of kitchen, dining hall, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and catering premises in clean and hygienic condition.
  9. Deployment of experienced catering staff, including cooks, assistants, waiters, helpers, cleaning staff, and service personnel.
  10. Procurement of all food materials, provisions, vegetables, fruits, milk, LPG gas, and other consumables at the contractor’s own cost.
The tender schedule estimates 6,360 person-days of catering service at ₹600 per person per day, with GST at 5%, making the total estimated value ₹40,06,800.
 

Pre-Qualification Criteria

Submission Guidelines

Key Conditions for Contractors

The contractor must ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and service delivery. Food must be cooked only within the approved kitchen premises, and outside food is not permitted. The contractor will be responsible for procurement of all provisions, LPG gas, fruits, vegetables, milk, and other food materials.

The contractor must maintain separate utensils and cooking arrangements for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Reuse of burnt oil is prohibited, and leftover food from one meal must not be served in the next meal.
The contractor will also be responsible for proper handling of APSPDCL-provided furniture, kitchen equipment, crockery, cutlery, utensils, and other assets. Any damage due to negligence, mishandling, or carelessness may be recovered from the contractor.
