Tender Summary
The Ministry of Defence under the Directorate General Defence Estates has invited a GeM bid for the procurement and supply of training-related fabricated materials and workshop consumables for defence training purposes at Leh, Ladakh.
The tender includes supply of custom-fabricated Steel Boxes, Sniper Boxes, plywood sheets with sunmica, wooden beams, sanding discs, and target papers. The procurement is reserved for Make in India and MSE-compliant suppliers meeting the specified eligibility and experience criteria.
Scope of Work
The selected bidder will be responsible for manufacturing, supplying, and delivering the following items:
- Steel Box for Training Purpose
- Sniper Box for Training Purpose
- 18MM Plywood 4x8 with both-side sunmica
- 8 Ft Wood 3x3 inch
- 5 Inch Velcro Sanding Disc (8 Hole)
- Target Paper
Additional responsibilities include:
- Custom fabrication as per approved design and operational requirements
- Submission of mandatory samples after award
- Delivery to Leh, Ladakh
- Replacement of rejected/damaged items
- Compliance with technical specifications and local content requirements
The delivery period is 15 days from issuance of the supply order.
Eligibility Criteria
Bidders must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
- OEMs or authorized dealers/distributors are eligible
- Authorized dealers must submit OEM authorization certificate
- Bidder must have supplied similar materials to Government Departments, Defence Establishments, CAPFs, or Educational Institutions during the last 3 financial years
- Minimum 50% local content required under Make in India provisions
- MSE reservation applicable only for eligible manufacturers/OEMs registered under Udyam
The bidder must submit at least three similar work orders/completion certificates, each valued at minimum ₹1,00,000.
