Scope of Work

The scope includes complete turnkey execution for the Hydraulic C-Frame Press Machine – 100 Ton Capacity, covering:

  1. Design and supply of the machine.
  2. Foundation work.
  3. Installation, testing and commissioning.
  4. Training of personnel.
  5. Proving out of the machine.
  6. Warranty including Preventive Maintenance Schedule for 8 quarters.
  7. Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract for 5 years after completion of the warranty period.
The technical annexure states that the machine should be suitable for railway workshop applications such as bending, straightening, forming, pressing-in and pressing-out operations. It must be robust, safe, operator-friendly and suitable for Indian Railway workshop conditions.

Pre-Qualification Criteria

The tender refers bidders to Sl. No. 54 of the Special Conditions of Contract in Annexure-A for eligibility requirements.   1. Bidders must submit their original or revised bids only up to the tender closing date and time. The tender clearly states that manual offers are not allowed and any manual offer received will be ignored.

Inspection and Commissioning Conditions
  1. Inspection will be carried out by the consignee / TPI as applicable. The place of inspection may be the manufacturer’s premises or as mentioned in the purchase order, and the firm must provide the complete inspection address in its offer. After delivery, the machine package should be opened in front of the consignee and a Joint Receipt Note should be prepared after checking for defects, damage or missing items.
  2. Commissioning must be completed within the stipulated period. If the contractor fails to commission the machine on time, penalty may be recovered at 2% per month, subject to an upper limit of 10% of contract valu
