The Jal Shakti Department, FBI Division Tangmarg (Jammu & Kashmir) has released an e-tender (NIT No. 03 of 2026-27) inviting bids from registered contractors for civil works related to riverbank protection and canal stabilization.

Scope of Work

1. Construction of river training and embankment protection works at Ferozpora Nallah
2. Canal protection through gabion toe wall construction and slope stabilization
3. Excavation, dewatering, diversion of nallah/canals, and site preparation
4. Construction of temporary access roads and drainage systems
5. Safety compliance, environmental management, and pollution control
6. Submission of progress reports, photographs, and videography documentation
7. Surveying works (cross-sections, L-sections) using engineering instruments

1. Contractors must be registered with J&K UT Government
2. Eligible contractor classes: AAY / BEE (as applicable per work)
3. Valid GST registration, PAN, and contractor registration certificate required
4. Must possess Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) for e-tendering

1. Submission of all mandatory technical documents
2. Compliance with bid security (EMD) and tender fee requirements
3. Upload of valid GST clearance certificate and treasury challan
4. Bidders must ensure balanced financial bids (bids below 35% of estimated cost are rejected)

1. Bids must be submitted online via J&K e-procurement portal
2. Upload scanned copies (100 DPI, B/W) of all required documents
3. Financial bids not accepted in physical form
4. Lowest bidder (L1) must submit original documents physically when requested
5. Ensure use of valid Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)
6. Tender fee and EMD must be submitted via Treasury Challan / e-Challan / CDR/FDR

6. Arbitration authority: Chief Engineer (concerned)
