Scope of Work

The selected caterer will provide food and refreshments as and when required, maintain food quality, hygiene and cleanliness, ensure adequate serving personnel, and comply with applicable labour and food-safety requirements. The caterer must not engage child labour or subcontract the work. Rates must be quoted exclusive of GST, as specified in the tender.

Professional Qualification and Experience: The tender document requires catering experience of at least three years in government, public-sector, educational or private institutions. A work-done certificate for work worth at least ₹4.23 lakh in a government organisation, university, college or public-sector organisation is also required. As the portal data does not specify a minimum annual turnover or net-worth threshold, these should not be assumed.

Eligibility Criteria: Bidders must hold valid business or establishment registration, GST registration and PAN documentation, and submit a certificate confirming that no child labour will be engaged. Bidders must not be declared ineligible by the Government of Karnataka for corrupt or fraudulent practices. All tender conditions must be followed.

Tender Fee and EMD: The tender fee is ₹500 and the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is ₹19,800. Payments must be credited to the designated e-procurement accounts by the submission deadline. The tender specifies online submission through the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (KPPP).

Bid Submission: This is an open tender using a two-cover system. Submit the technical bid and financial bid through the KPPP portal at https://kppp.karnataka.gov.in/. Quote item-wise rates in accordance with the prescribed schedule, exclusive of GST. Late bids will not be considered.
