Scope of Work

The selected/empanelled agency will provide decorative lighting at locations including the Main Gates, Mess Circle, IMDC, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, LKP, Vikram Sarabhai Library and Forum Tower, as directed by IIMA. Events may include Institute Day, Diwali, Convocation, Independence Day, Diwali Dinner, Gujarati New Year and other institutional functions. The bidder must arrange lighting-related wiring, ensure electrical safety and complete installation at least one working day before the event for inspection. In some cases, only 48 hours’ notice may be given. Tendernotice_1(5)

Professional Qualification & Eligibility

1. Legally constituted entity; Joint Ventures are not permitted.
2. Minimum 2 years in business as on 31 July 2026.
3. Similar electrical/lighting experience.
4. During the preceding 3 years, ending 31 July 2026: 1 similar work of ₹5 lakh, or 2 works of ₹4 lakh each, or 3 works of ₹3 lakh each.
5. Valid Gujarat Electrical Contractor Licence, or eligible nominated subcontractor licence with an executed MoU.
6. Office/workshop in Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar, or undertaking to establish one within 15 days of award.
7. Mandatory site visit.
8. Technical proposal and presentation are required; bidders scoring below 70/100 are not eligible for price-bid opening. Tendernotice_1(5)

Financial Criteria

Minimum average annual turnover: ₹10 lakh for FY 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25, supported by a CA certificate. No specific net-worth requirement is stated in the tender. Tendernotice_1(5)

Tender Fee & EMD

The tender document reviewed does not specify a separate tender fee. EMD is ₹10,000, payable through DD/Pay Order/NEFT/RTGS/Insurance Surety Bond or online payment.
