Tender Overview
SBI Foundation invites proposals from eligible NGOs across India under its flagship SBIF Muskaan – Child Development Programme. The initiative aims to support impactful projects addressing early childhood development, child protection, and prevention of child marriage across rural and urban India.
 Scope of Work
Selected NGOs will implement projects under Child Development thematic area focusing on one of the following interventions:
1. Child Care Institutions (CCI)
  1. Adoption and strengthening of childcare institutions
  2. Shelter, nutrition, healthcare, counselling, and education support
  3. Family reintegration and alternative care
2. Early Childhood Care (Creches)
  1. Establishment of model creches
  2. Nutrition, health monitoring, and early learning programs
  3. Community awareness and parental engagement
3. Prevention of Child Marriage
  1. Adolescent empowerment programs
  2. Community awareness and legal literacy
  3. Rehabilitation and education support
 Project Duration: 2 Years
 Project Budget:
  1. Up to ₹2 Cr (CCI & Creches)
  2. Up to ₹1 Cr (Child Marriage intervention)
 Pre-Qualification Criteria
  1. Must be a registered NGO (Trust/Society/Section 8 Company) in India
  2. Minimum 3 years of registration and experience
  3. Experience in Child Protection / Early Childhood Development
  4. Not blacklisted by any government or agency
  5. Must have valid statutory registrations (12A, 80G, etc.)
 Eligibility Criteria
  1. NGO must submit only one proposal
  2. Must align with SBIF Muskaan framework
  3. Must have operational presence in proposed geography
  4. Should demonstrate measurable impact and project sustainability
  5. Minimum governance requirements:
    1. At least 3 board members
    2. Minimum 5 permanent employees
