 Scope of Work
The selected NGO will be responsible for end-to-end implementation of school infrastructure restoration projects, including:
Key Activities:
  1. Damage assessment of schools in disaster-affected districts
  2. Preparation of DPRs, cost estimates, and approvals
  3. Structural repair and reconstruction of classrooms and facilities
  4. Restoration of WASH infrastructure (toilets, water supply, drainage)
  5. Electrical works, furniture, and school equipment
  6. Temporary learning facilities (if required)
  7. School beautification and branding
  8. Monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance
  9. Final handover and post-implementation review
* Target states include Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Uttarakhand.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizational Eligibility:
  1. Must be a registered NGO / Trust / Society in India
  2. Minimum 3–5 years experience in infrastructure or similar projects
  3. Experience in construction/renovation of educational or community infrastructure
  4. Prior experience in disaster-affected regions preferred
  5. Must not be blacklisted by any government authority
Operational Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3 board members
  2. Minimum 5 permanent employees
  3. No political or religious affiliations
Pre-Qualification Criteria
  1. Proven experience in school infrastructure projects
  2. Demonstrated collaboration with government or certified agencies
  3. Compliance with safety and building standards
  4. Experience in project monitoring and execution systems
  5. Prior work in selected geography (minimum 1 year preferred)
