 Scope of Work
The selected NGOs will implement projects focused on:
  1. Waterbody rejuvenation and restoration
  2. River and riverbank protection
  3. Spring-shed management
  4. Rainwater harvesting
  5. Watershed and wetland conservation
Key Activities Include:
  1. Baseline studies and site identification
  2. Government approvals and stakeholder coordination
  3. Community mobilization and awareness
  4. Implementation (desilting, bioremediation, recharge systems)
  5. Sustainability planning and capacity building
Preferred locations include water-stressed regions across India, including Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Himalayan states, and Northeast India.
 Pre-Qualification Criteria
Eligible applicants must:
  1. Be a registered NGO/Trust/Society in India
  2. Have minimum 5 years of experience in relevant sector
  3. Have completed at least 3 similar projects
  4. Have minimum 5 permanent employees and 3 board members
  5. Not be blacklisted by any government authority
  6. Have a dedicated technical team (environmentalists, engineers, etc.)
  7. Demonstrate measurable impact in past projects
 Eligibility Criteria
  1. Only non-profit organizations are eligible
  2. Must operate in proposed project geography
  3. Must comply with CSR regulations (Companies Act, 2013)
  4. Must not have political or religious affiliations
 Financial Criteria
  1. Project Budget: ₹50 Lakhs to ₹4.5 Crore
  2. Revenue Requirement:
    1. ₹2 Cr (for projects up to ₹1 Cr)
    2. ₹5 Cr (for projects above ₹1 Cr)
  3. Financial documents (last 3 years) mandatory
