Hindustan Copper Limited Invites Bids for Safety Management Training Programme for Frontline Supervisors at Khetri & Kolihan Mines

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, has released an online tender through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for conducting a comprehensive Two Weeks Structured Training on Safety Management for Frontline Supervisors working at the Khetri and Kolihan Mines in Rajasthan.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening mine safety practices, improving compliance with statutory regulations, enhancing emergency preparedness, and building a proactive safety culture among supervisory personnel engaged in underground mechanized metal mining operations.

Under the one-year contract, the selected training agency will conduct two batches comprising 30 participants each. The curriculum covers key areas such as the Mines Act, DGMS regulations, mine rescue procedures, occupational health, risk assessment, fire safety, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe operating procedures, accident investigation, environmental health and safety, behaviour-based safety, workplace ethics, and team-building.

HCL has specified that bidders must possess prior experience in conducting similar frontline supervisor training programmes in underground mines and submit documentary evidence including work orders and completion certificates.

The procurement will be carried out entirely through the GeM portal using a two-packet bidding system. Interested organizations should carefully review all tender conditions and ensure submission of the required technical and financial documents before the bid closing date.
