Overview

The Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Revenue and Forest Department, Government of Maharashtra has invited bids through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform for the appointment of a training agency or institute to conduct Disaster Management and Preparedness Training in Government and Government-Aided Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools (Classes 9–12).

The selected agency will deliver structured training programs to enhance disaster awareness, preparedness, and response skills among students and school stakeholders. The contract period for this assignment is 5 months.

This tender is relevant for training providers, skill development organizations, disaster management institutes, and education training agencies with prior experience working with government or public sector organizations.

Scope of Work

1. The selected training agency will be responsible for:
2. Designing and delivering disaster management and preparedness training programs
3. Conducting training sessions in government and government-aided schools
4. Covering students from classes 9th to 12th
5. Developing training materials and awareness modules
6. Conducting practical demonstrations and preparedness drills
7. Coordinating with government education authorities and schools
8. Submitting training completion reports and documentation

The focus of the project is to strengthen school safety, disaster preparedness awareness, and emergency response capacity.

Eligibility Criteria

Organizational Eligibility

1. Bidders must meet the following requirements:
2. Must be a registered training institute / agency / organization
3. Must have experience delivering similar training services
4. Experience with Central Government / State Government / PSU organizations is preferred.

Professional Qualification Criteria

The bidder must:

1. Have experience in safety training, disaster management training, or emergency response training
2. Provide proof of previous contracts or work orders
3. Demonstrate capability to conduct large-scale training programs

Financial Criteria

1. Minimum Average Annual Turnover: ₹5.85 Crore (585 Lakh) over the last 3 financial years

1. Minimum 3 years of experience providing similar services
