Scope of Work

The selected coaching institution will be responsible for providing coaching and academic support to students of Prayas Residential School, Kanker. The scope includes:

1. Providing subject-wise faculty for Classes 9th to 12th.
2. Coaching students for school curriculum and competitive entrance examinations.
3. Preparing students for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET and other national/state-level examinations.
4. Providing coaching support for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Social Science, Mental Ability and related subjects as applicable.
5. Providing study material in soft copy and hard copy format.
6. Conducting tests, OMR-based assessments and exam-oriented practice sessions.
7. Preparing lesson plans, teacher diaries, homework review, doubt-clearing sessions and student performance analysis.
8. Providing career counselling, motivation and mentoring support.
9. Providing qualified project coordinator / in-charge for project monitoring.
10. Ensuring regular reporting to the school/department authorities.
11. Supporting students in achieving strong academic and competitive examination outcomes.

Pre-Qualification Criteria

Interested coaching institutions must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:

1. The applicant must be registered under the Government of India or Government of Chhattisgarh as a valid legal entity.
2. Eligible entity types include partnership firm, company/LLP, trust, society or proprietorship firm.
3. The institution must have registration valid for at least 3 years prior to 01 April 2025.
4. Franchise-based applications will not be accepted.
5. Joint Venture and Consortium participation is not permitted.
6. The firm must have valid PAN registration.
7. The firm must have GST registration. If the firm is registered outside Chhattisgarh, it must obtain Chhattisgarh GST registration after award of work.
8. The applicant must have PF and ESI registration.
9. The applicant must not be blacklisted by any government department, public undertaking, agency or institution.
10. The applicant should not have unresolved complaints related to non-payment of faculty/teacher salaries.
11. Power of Attorney must be submitted, where applicable.

Financial Criteria

The applicant must fulfil the following financial requirements:

Minimum Experience Requirement

The coaching institution must have experience in providing coaching for competitive examinations during the last three financial years: 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25.

The EOI specifically considers performance and results in examinations such as:

1. JEE Main
2. JEE Advanced
3. NEET
4. NTSE
5. Science Olympiad
6. Other relevant national and state-level examinations

The applicant must provide audited proof, CA-certified turnover, result details and relevant documentation for the last three years.

Faculty Eligibility Criteria

The coaching institution must provide qualified teaching faculty for Classes 9th to 12th. Faculty should have suitable qualifications such as B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc., M.A., B.Ed., NET/GATE/UGC-CSIR qualification or equivalent credentials depending on the subject.

Faculty will be required for subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Social Science, Mental Ability, Career Counselling, Physical Education/Yoga and Project Coordination.

The institution must provide a faculty demo after selection. Faculty will be evaluated on teaching skill, subject knowledge, communication ability and problem-solving approach.

Evaluation Method

The EOI follows a Quality-Cum-Cost Based System.

The technical evaluation will be conducted out of 100 marks. Only institutions scoring at least 60% marks in technical evaluation will qualify for financial bid opening. If fewer than three firms qualify, the Collector, District Uttar Bastar Kanker may relax the minimum technical score condition as per the EOI terms.

Technical evaluation will consider:

1. Past results in JEE Main and NEET
2. Number of students achieving national/state-level ranks
3. Turnover from coaching activities
4. Quality of study material
5. Approach, methodology and strategy presentation

Submission Guidelines

The proposal must be submitted online through the Chhattisgarh e-Procurement portal in three parts:

Part 1: Minimum Eligibility Documents

Forms EC-1 to EC-9 must be uploaded.

Part 2: Technical Proposal

Forms TE-1 to TE-10 must be uploaded with technical details, faculty information, study material, methodology and supporting documents.

Part 3: Financial Proposal

The financial proposal must be submitted in the prescribed FB-1 format.

Applicants must ensure that all required documents are uploaded before the last date. Incomplete proposals or proposals submitted after the deadline may be rejected.
