Scope of Work
The tender covers the construction of VDCC Bank Training Centre Building at Vijayapur. Based on the tender documents, drawings and BOQ references, the work includes:
- Construction of training centre building infrastructure.
- Building works including excavation, foundation, RCC, reinforcement, block work, plastering, flooring and finishing.
- Electrical works including earthing, UPS-related installation and associated electrical infrastructure.
- Sanitary and plumbing works including chambers, pipes and external sanitary works.
- Road and site development components.
- Parking and auditorium-related construction as indicated in the attached drawings.
- Completion of all works as per approved drawings, technical specifications, BOQ and instructions of the employer/engineer-in-charge.
The contract data describes the works as consisting of Building, Electrical, Sanitary and Road components. Bidders should carefully study the BOQ, drawings and specifications before quoting.
Pre-Qualification Criteria
1. Contractor Category
The bidder should be a Class I and above contractor eligible to participate in the tender.
2. General Eligibility
The bidder should:
- Be eligible to participate in Government of Karnataka public procurement processes.
- Not be under any declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
- Submit only one tender for the package.
- Provide complete and accurate qualification information.
- Comply with all requirements under KW-4 and KW-6 tender documents.
- Ensure no commercial information is disclosed in the technical cover.
3. Joint Venture Eligibility
Joint Ventures are permitted. However:
- JV is limited to two partners: lead/prime contractor and one JV partner.
- JV partners are jointly and severally liable.
- Lead partner must meet the prescribed minimum share of turnover and financial capability.
- Financial documents of both prime contractor and JV member must be submitted.
- Any change in JV structure after pre-qualification requires written approval of the employer.
4. Subcontracting
Subcontracting or part-work subcontracting is not allowed as per the pre-qualification document.
