CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Still Inaccessible; Class 12 Students Await Marks Verification and Post-Result Services

CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Delay Leaves Class 12 Students Waiting for Post-Result Services

New Delhi, June 2, 2026: Students seeking post-result services for CBSE Class 12 board examinations continue to face uncertainty as the Central Board of Secondary Education’s re-evaluation and marks verification portal remained inaccessible despite the revised launch schedule.

The portal, which was expected to become operational from June 1, 2026, is meant to facilitate key post-result services such as verification of marks, access to evaluated answer books and re-evaluation of specific answers. However, students attempting to access the services reported that the relevant online link had not become functional as expected.

CBSE had earlier postponed the commencement of post-result activities, stating that additional time was required to strengthen the website infrastructure and ensure a smoother application process. The delay has left many students and parents waiting for clarity, especially those who want to review their marks before admission deadlines and higher education processes move forward.

Delay Follows Technical Complaints During Answer-Sheet Access

The latest delay comes after several technical complaints were reported during the earlier answer-sheet access process. Students had raised concerns related to portal login issues, payment gateway failures and discrepancies in fee displays.

Some candidates also reportedly alleged that the scanned copies of evaluated answer books were blurred, incomplete or did not match their original answer sheets. These complaints triggered concerns over the reliability of the digital post-result system and the need for stronger technical safeguards.

IIT Experts Involved in System Review

As concerns increased over the digital evaluation and post-result service mechanism, CBSE brought in experts from IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras to review and strengthen various technological components of the system.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has also stated that corrective measures will be taken wherever discrepancies are identified and assured that student grievances will be addressed.

The involvement of technical experts is seen as an important step toward improving transparency, reliability and efficiency in CBSE’s digital evaluation support system.

Lakhs of Students Expected to Use Post-Result Services

CBSE post-result services are expected to witness heavy traffic once the portal becomes operational. Lakhs of students may apply for verification of marks, photocopies of evaluated answer books and re-evaluation requests.

The verification process allows students to check for totalling errors or unchecked responses. After obtaining scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets, students may also apply for re-evaluation of specific answers as per the Board’s rules and schedule.

Given the scale of applications, technical readiness of the portal is crucial to avoid further inconvenience, failed transactions and delays in academic decision-making.

Students Advised to Follow Official CBSE Channels

Students are advised to rely only on official CBSE websites, notifications and support channels for updates regarding the activation of the post-result services portal.

They should also keep required documents, roll numbers, application details and payment options ready so that they can apply once the portal becomes functional.

For many students, re-evaluation and verification services are an important opportunity to address possible evaluation-related concerns. Timely activation of the portal will be essential to maintain student confidence in the post-result process.

CBSE Class 12 students continue to wait for re-evaluation and marks verification services as the post-result portal remains inaccessible despite the revised schedule. Technical complaints and portal delays have raised concerns among students.
