Scope of Work
  1. The scope includes river training and channel cutting works of the River Jorasor from NH-15 to Baithabhanga, involving excavation, embankment formation, riverbank protection, and associated civil works as per WRD specifications. The contractor is required to complete the Project Duration
  2. Time for Completion: 180 days from the date of work order
Pre-Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility
  1. Open to registered contractors of Water Resources Department (WRD), Assam.
  2. WRD registration must be valid up to 31 March 2026.
  3. Contractors engaged as consultants for the same work are not eligible.
Technical Experience
  1. For works above ₹5 Crore:
    1. One similar single civil work of at least 60% of package value, or
    2. Two similar works totaling 70% of package value.
  2. For works up to ₹5 Crore:
    1. One similar single civil work of at least 50% of package value.
  3. Work orders must be from the last 5 financial years.
Financial Capacity
  1. Minimum annual turnover (civil works only) not less than the package value, certified by a Chartered Accountant.
  2. Bid capacity calculated as per WRD norms:
  3. Bid Capacity = 2A – (B + C)
  4. where A is highest turnover in last 3 years.
Financial Details
  1. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
  2. 2% of package value
  3. 1% for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/Unemployed Engineers (as applicable)
  4. To be submitted online only
Tender Processing Fee
  1. 0.02% of package value, payable online as per Finance Department norms
