Maharashtra to Conduct CET 2026-27 for Civil Services Prelims Training Admission

The Department of Higher Education, Government of Maharashtra, through the State Institute for Administrative Careers (SIAC), Mumbai, has announced the Common Entrance Test (CET-2026-27) for admission to the Civil Services Preliminary Examination Training Programme 2026-27.

The initiative aims to provide full-time free training to selected students preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Preliminary Examination. The training will be conducted across various centres in Maharashtra, enabling aspirants from different regions of the state to access structured academic guidance and preparation support.

Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil said that the entrance examination will be conducted for admission to the training programme. The programme will also include training support through the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Competitive Examination Guidance Centre, Pune, operated by YASHADA, and the Savitribai Phule Academy, Pune, operated by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
