Job Title: Mobile Phone Repair Technician
Job Summary:
The Mobile Phone Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in mobile phones brought in by customers. This includes both hardware and software troubleshooting, ensuring the device is restored to proper working condition before it is returned to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and log faulty mobile phones from customers.
- Perform detailed diagnosis to identify hardware or software-related issues.
- Carry out front-end repairs such as screen or battery replacements.
- Conduct hardware-level repairs including soldering and board component replacement, if required.
- Resolve software issues including firmware reinstallation, bug fixes, and virus removal.
- Test the repaired phone to ensure all issues are resolved and device is fully functional.
- Maintain repair logs and update records accurately.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the fault, repair status, and maintenance tips.
- Handle tools and equipment with care, ensuring safety and efficiency in repair tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- 8th Grade Pass with 2 years of NTC + 2 years of NAC/relevant experience
- OR 10th Grade Pass with 2 years of NTC/NAC/relevant experience
- OR 12th Class Pass
- OR Certificate – NSQF Level 3 (Maintenance Technician) with 2 years of relevant experience

- Basic knowledge of mobile operating systems (Android/iOS)
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair software

- Desk-based work with use of electronic diagnostic tools, repair kits, and precision equipment.
